Booking Conditions

First and foremost, when you make your booking, please realize that this is an adventure holiday. You must come prepared to be flexible and to accept the potential risks of climbing Kilimanjaro and generally traveling in Africa. We will do our utmost to keep you safe and secure, but there is an inherent risk.

Once you have decided on your GM Expedition holiday, we will confirm by email the details and price of the holiday. At that point, we will require a $750 deposit and a completed booking form (to be attached to the email confirmation). If you cancel before making the final payment, you will only lose the deposit. Final payment is due at least 6 weeks before the holiday. If you then cancel within 30 days, you will lose the full payment. If you do not show up on your scheduled flight, we will assume you missed the flight and we will expect you to contact us within 24 hours with your new travel details. If you fail to do so, we will assume that you are canceling the trip and there will be no refund.

We do not plan to cancel any of our trips, but in the unlikely event of a geopolitical or other destabilizing incident, we reserve the right to do so. If we cancel the trip due to any event mentioned above, we will offer a full refund, including the deposit, in most cases.

We expect all our climbers to take out travel and medical insurance prior to their expedition. When you make your booking you will be asked to give us proof of insurance.
